Coolest Taco Bell In The World.

Somewhere in the early 2000s my family and I stumbled across the coolest Taco Bell ever! I took my children to Halfmoon Bay yearly and at the end of the trip we typically went home the long way, which for us meant we drove up California Hwy-1 towards San Francisco. The coolest Taco Bell ever sits in the coastal town of Pacifica along Linda Mar beach, which sits somewhere between Halfmoon Bay and San Francisco. We just happened to stop at this particular Taco Bell way back when, because the kids were hungry and they were not interested, at that time in their lives, to wait for tourist clam chowder at Pier 39.

That one time stop has now become a simple family tradition. Anytime any one of us are within a one hour radius of this Taco Bell, we just have to get there. It has been over four years since my last visit to this Taco Bell but this year I was in San Francisco so I made it a mission to make a quick drive-by stop. I was NOT let down.

This may seem like an odd post from me but this place has always been a super California-Cool spot. This Taco Bell has a “surfboard parking” area, no drive-thru, a walk-up window so the surfers don’t have to go inside, an indoor fireplace, and on this last visit they have added libations. Yeah you heard me, you can now have wine, beer, or twisted freezes (spiked Baja Blast). Taco Bell Cantina is the official name now, which in California style sounds California-Cool.

This Cantina is popular, busy, and on a nice California day, when the waves are on, the surfers flock here. If you’ve never been here, go. If you have been here, go again. It’s simple to have a good time, and it’s a cool experience.

I’ll take a crunch wrap supreme hold the sour cream, mild sauce, and one twisted freeze please.
