Yachats, Oregon

Yachats, Oregon……a sleepy little seaside town on Oregon’s famous coast.  Yachats, pronounced “Ya-Hots” was a special place to enjoy some family time before the kids headed back to school.  Underrated and overlooked only added to its charm.  The boys , this statement includes my husband, and I had a long stretch of beach almost entirely to ourselves and we didn't spend much time in our hotel room. 

The tide pools offered entertainment for hours as did running from the cold ocean waves.  We all laughed and jumped around more than we have in a while. 

 Yachats was simple, deserted, and we felt like we were the last remaining people on the planet.  Pure bliss.
